As a leader in the plumbing and construction products industry, Oatey Co. wanted to strengthen its digital presence and establish itself as a go-to resource for trade professionals, DIYers, and homeowners.
The Tactics:
In partnership with Oatey, GreenHouse Digital + PR led the development and execution of a comprehensive national trade media relations campaign.
- We identified more than 400 high-value trade media outlets and tailored our strategy to key audience segments, including contractors, engineers, designers, wholesalers, and remodelers.
- Monthly outreach included editorial pitching, award submissions, and interview placements, backed by consistent content creation (bylined articles, press releases, and case studies).
- We supported two major product launches at top trade shows, KBIS and WWETT, coordinating booth tours, virtual editor meetings, and pre-show outreach.

The Results:
The campaign achieved 100% of its 280M impressions and 1,557 placement goals. Highlights included:
68 bylined feature article placements in print/emagazines, online and eNewsletters, including Pro Remodeler’s most-read article in February
12 major feature placements and 10 cover stories or mentions
